Watersports
Ġnejna bay is an amazing place that one should visit once in Malta. Adding to the excitement is the wide spectrum of water sports to be engaged in, in this enchanting place.
Our aim at Ġnejna Watersports is that beyond spending time enjoying the beach, you also spend some time having fun and discovering the beauty that the entire Ġnejna’s coast has to offer.
NOTE: FOR EACH TYPE OF WATER SPORTS, LIFE-JACKETS ARE SUPPLIED FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY FREE OF CHARGE.
Wakeboarding
Most boarders say that this is a very popular sport with a mixture of wave riding, snowboarding and water skiing. Our boat pulls you over the water while you can do some freestyle techniques.
Crazy Sofa
You cannot come to our water sports without trying the craziest sofa you ever sat on. All you need to do is sit and hold tight as you are being whisked through the waves and turned fast by our speedboat.
Banana rides
One of the all time favourites activities is the banana rides. You get pulled behind a speed boat at very high speed. It’s a really wonderful experience, especially for the young ones! It takes up to seven persons all with life-jackets and the ride takes about fifteen minutes around the coast. Worth a try!!
Skiing/Ski lessons
If you’re experienced in water-skiing, you can’t miss a ride around Ġnejna Bay. You get pulled by a fast speed boat with one or two skiis, and if you’re not experienced we can give you some lessons so that you can get the thrilling feeling of skiing. The ride takes between fifteen and thirty minutes, depending on how much you’re experienced. All ages are welcome and you’ll be wearing a life-jacket too for safety.
Paddle Boats
Why not take a relaxing ride on one of our paddle boats, so that you may enjoy the unique and spectacular views of Ġnejna. All the family can enjoy this experience, as a paddle boat can take up to five persons. Each ride take one hour and it really serves good to do some exercise!
Kayaks [1 seater]
If you’re a bit more adventurous, why not take one of our one seater kayaks? They are very stable, and you’ll be using your arms quite a bit! It’s a different and enjoyable way to admire the beautiful surroundings!

Our kayaks are designed to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child and the stability is execlent. These kayaks are the ideal choice for family,beginner or couples who like to spent some time exploring our coast which offers sandy beaches, beautiful caves and unique views.
